The Los Angeles Lakers have agreed to a contract with forward Michael Beasley, according to multiple reports.
The 29-year-old joins a new-look Lakers squad that has already signed LeBron James, Lance Stephenson and JaVale McGee this off-season.
Beasley has played with James in the past, taking the floor in 55 games for the Miami Heat during the 2013-14 season. The Heat went on to fall to the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals, and Beasley appeared in just four playoff games.
The former second-overall pick spent last season with the New York Knicks, and has averaged 12.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists over his 10-year NBA career with the Heat, Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns, Houston Rockets and Milwaukee Bucks.
