The San Antonio Spurs will retire longtime point guard Tony Parker’s No. 9 jersey on Nov. 11 when the team hosts the Memphis Grizzlies.

Parker is set to become the 10th player in Spurs franchise history to have his number retired.

The 37-year-old retired following the 2018-19 season after an illustrious 18-year career spent primarily with the Spurs. The Frenchman played his last NBA season as a member of the Charlotte Hornets.

During his tenure with San Antonio, Parker starred in a dynamic ‘Big 3’ alongside Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili, winning four championships between 2003 and 2014.

The future Hall of Fame point guard averaged 15.5 points and 5.6 assists on 49.1 per cent shooting over the course of his career.
