The Toronto Raptors have recalled two-way player Oshae Brissett from their G League affiliate, Raptors 905.
Brissett spent time with the parent club during NBA pre-season as well as with the Canadian men’s national team last summer.
With the Raptors dealing with substantial losses across the roster (OG Anunoby, Kyle Lowry, Serge Ibaka, and Patrick McCaw are all out), Brissett will serve as depth at the forward position.
NBA teams are allowed to have their two-way players join up with the parent club for a maximum of 45 days over the course of the 82-game campaign.
In the first and only game Raptors 905 has played so far this season, Brissett scored 14 points, had six rebounds, and recorded two blocks in 27.4 minutes against the Grand Rapids Drive.
