The Toronto Raptors own the Eastern Conference’s top seed heading into the all-star break, but the team still can’t get any love south of the border.
ESPN polled NBA fans on Twitter Thursday, asking which two teams will meet in the 2018 Finals. The Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors are options, as are the Boston Celtics and Western Conference-leading Houston Rockets.
But there’s one glaring omission: the Raptors, who sit a full two games up on Boston for first place with two games in hand.

Toronto is well-represented at All-Star Weekend with Dwane Casey coaching Team LeBron and DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry suiting up for Team Stephen. The Raptors are also currently riding a seven-game win streak, so where’s the recognition?
Maybe they’ll just have to reach the conference finals again before American media even adds an “other” category to polls.
