Twitter Reaction: ‘Crying LeBron’ to replace ‘Crying Jordan?’

LeBron James led the Cavs with a triple-double to beat the Warriors 93-89, coming back from down 3-1 in the series to deliver Cleveland its first championship in 52 years.

The Cleveland Cavaliers won their first-ever NBA title, ending the curse that affected Cleveland sports for 52 years.

With so much on the line, LeBron James and his teammates’ emotions poured out as Game 7 ended. Now it appears as if the “Crying Jordan” meme will be replaced by “Crying LeBron.”

Here is how the Twitterverse reacted to Cleveland claiming that elusive first championship…

Of course, while “Crying LeBron” could become a thing in the end no Twitter reaction would be complete without the original “Crying Jordan” meme.
