As the NBA teaches us time and time again, there’s never a dull moment in the off-season.

So when news of Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook being dealt to the Houston Rockets in exchange for Chris Paul broke on Twitter, we all knew plenty of worthwhile, hilarious reaction was sure to follow.

12 years ago, in June of 2007,
the OKC Thunder drafted Kevin Durant No. 2 overall.

The next year, 2008, they drafted Russell Westbrook No. 4.

The next year, 2009, they drafted James Harden No. 3 overall

The odds of drafting 3 MVP's in 3 years is astronomical.
Now, none remain.
