Toronto Raptors centre Jonas Valnciunas may be turning heads around the NBA this season with his play, but the seven-foot centre is still able to go fairly unnoticed off the court.
The Lithuanian went undercover as an employee of a Toronto Purolator Shipping Centre, surprising unsuspecting patrons and even offering them a chance to win a Raptors jersey signed by, yup, Jonas Valanciunas. While a few customers recognized the 22-year-old, the majority were unaware of his identity despite the display set up inside the store.
Valanciunas is averaging 11.8 points to go along with 9.0 rebounds and is a big reason why the Raptors boast the Eastern Conference’s top record of 20-6.
