Warriors’ Kevin Durant wins second All-Star Game MVP award

Kevin Durant took home MVP honours as the he helped Team LeBron beat Team Giannis 178-164 at the 2019 NBA All-Star Game.

Kevin Durant‘s 31 points helped the superstar forward capture All-Star Game MVP honours and lead Team LeBron to a comeback victory over Team Giannis, 179-164.

Team LeBron trailed by as many as 18 points, but tremendous shooting from Durant (10-of-15 field goals, 6-of-9 from three-point range) played a big part in leading the comeback charge.

It’s the second time Durant has taken home the award over All-Star weekend, after winning MVP honours back in 2012.
