If we’ve learned anything from the Toronto Raptors‘ run to the NBA Finals, it’s that the team’s Canadian fan base is among the league’s most passionate.
From the rousing atmosphere inside Scotiabank Arena for Games 1 and 2 to the 37 Jurassic Parks that have popped up around the country for the series against the Golden State Warriors, no one could question the passion of Canadian fans.
But their trash talk? That might be a different question.
Renowned around the world for our infectious politeness, Jimmy Kimmel set out to see if Canadians could toss their manners aside for some good ol’ fashioned smack talk.
Turns out we couldn’t.
Kimmel challenged Raptors fans on the streets of Toronto to talk some trash about the Warriors and those given the chance failed spectacularly yet hilariously.
