LeBron James isn’t the only NBA star doing it big on the silver screen.
Kyrie Irving will soon be emerging from LeBron’s shadow in Hollywood, too, and he’s bringing some of his NBA compatriots with him.
The trailer for Irving’s forthcoming film Uncle Drew dropped Wednesday, featuring Irving, former NBA stars Shaquille O’Neal, Chris Webber and Reggie Miller, as well as WNBA legend Lisa Leslie.

Based off the popular Uncle Drew character Irving debuted in a series of Pepsi commercials, it appears the plot of this film revolves around Irving, as the main character, recruiting a group of old playground legends to participate and win a tournament at famed New York court Rucker Park.
From what we’ve gathered from the trailer, Miller will be playing a blind three-point marksman, O’Neal is a martial arts instructor of some kind and Webber is a preacher.
The film’s slated release date is June 29.
