Devin Harris was a below-average shooter this past season, according to his .399 field-goal percentage.

Judging by his early work this off-season, the Dallas Mavericks point guard has plenty more time to spend in the gym.

Harris was in Rowlett, Tex., on Thursday taking part in Mavs Hoops Camp with mostly kids … and one elderly assassin.

While embroiled in a tight a game of Knockout, the gentleman drilled a long-distance shot to defeat the 33-year-old Harris, a veteran of 13 NBA seasons.

Check out the reaction the older man received after nailing the shot.

The story is likely a case of the basketball gods coming back to haunt Harris. Earlier in the day, he stared into the soul of a defender after making a contested shot in the paint.
