This is an age old question that many Cowboys supporters or fans don’t bring up as much. Let’s face it, Tony Romo is the franchise quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys and that was solidified when he got a six-year contract extension in the offseason.

The quarterback with the gun slinging mentality has cost the Cowboys many games including the final regular season game last year when Dallas could have made the playoffs and all they had to do was beat the Washington Redskins but failed. The pressure is on Tony Romo to produce and bring the Cowboys to a Super Bowl but can he do it?

That is a question that needs to be answered immediately because he has the playmakers on offense to do it but it starts with him not making crucial mistakes. If he doesn’t make those mistakes and the defense shows up then the Cowboys will be winners. If not, then they will be in the same old predicament.
