Get your popcorn ready, Montreal Alouettes fans.
The Alouettes have signed wide receiver Terique Owens, son of Pro Football Hall of Fame receiver Terrell Owens, to a two-year deal, the CFL club announced Monday.
Terique Owens was cut by the San Francisco 49ers, the club where his dad made his biggest mark, after the 2025 pre-season. He caught one touchdown pass in exhibition play.
The younger Owens played two years for the Florida Atlantic University Owls (2019–20) and three seasons with Missouri State (2021–2023). He had 528 receiving yards and four touchdowns in 10 games in his final NCAA season.
Terrell Owens ranks third in NFL receiving yards and touchdown receptions. He was a six-time Pro Bowler.
