With the CFL playoffs around the corner, it's time to start handing out some regular-season hardware.
Before the league's top awards are handed out, each of the nine teams recognized its best players across six categories — voted by the clubs and local members of Football Reporters of Canada (FRC).
The voters were tasked with selecting players whose on-field efforts represented the categories of: Most Outstanding Player (MOP), Most Outstanding Canadian (MOC), Most Outstanding Defensive Player (MODP), Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman (MOOL), Most Outstanding Special Teams Player (MOST) and Most Outstanding Rookie (MOR).
And within the new awards process, every player who received a vote in one of the six categories advanced to the final ballot for that CFL honour. Those will be voted on by the same 36 local media members from the nine markets across the league, along with 20 national members of the FRC, with the three finalists for each award announced next week.
Here is a full list of players recognized by each team.
