The top team in the CFL is adding even more talent.
The Montreal Alouettes agreed to terms with Canadian tight end Rohan Jones, 3DownNation's John Hodge reported on Wednesday.
It's a three-year agreement per Hodge, and will keep Jones with the Alouettes through the 2028 season.
Jones, 24, was selected by Montreal with the eighth-overall pick in the 2026 CFL Draft out of Arkansas.
He tried his hand in the NFL with the Los Angeles Rams, where he attended training camp and appeared in all three pre-season games. Jones made one tackle on special teams over the three games, and was then waived by the Rams when the team cut its roster down to 53 players.
In his last season with Arkansas, the Montreal native caught 19 passes for 519 yards and four touchdowns.
Jones will join an Alouettes team that sits first in the East Division and has the best record in the CFL at 9-2
