The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have won the right to select first overall in the 2021 CFL Draft.

Due to the cancellation of the 2020 season, the CFL held a random draw to determine the draft order. The 2021 draft will be six rounds instead of eight and be in a snake format where the team picking first in Round 1 will then pick last in Round 2.

As a result, the order of the first two rounds of the CFL draft are as follows:

Round 1

1. Hamilton
2. Saskatchewan
3. Winnipeg
4. BC
5. Edmonton
6. Ottawa
7. Toronto
8. Calgary
9. Hamilton (via Montreal)

Round 2
10. Montreal
11. Calgary
12. Toronto
13. Ottawa
14. Edmonton
15. BC
16. Winnipeg
17. Saskatchewan
18. Hamilton

The CFL announced earlier this week that it is targeting a return to the field on June 10 with a full 18-game schedule and a Grey Cup championship game next November.
