HOW TRIPLE KNOCKOUT WORKS

All 16 teams start in the A bracket. Winners stay in A while losers drop to the B bracket. The winners in B remain in that bracket while the losers drop to the C bracket. The C bracket is the last chance for teams and once a team loses in the C bracket they are eliminated from the tournament.

Two A teams, three B teams and three C teams qualify for the playoffs.

Basically, teams must win three games before they lose three in order to advance to the playoff round.
