The Grand Slam of Curling will be heading to Charlottetown for the first time next season.
The series announced Thursday that Bell Aliant Centre will host the HearingLife Tour Challenge, Oct. 1-6.
Featuring a total of 32 men's teams and 32 women's teams in action, the HearingLife Tour Challenge is the largest event on the Grand Slam of Curling circuit.
Both divisions are split into two tiers. Tier 1 features the top teams from around the world while Tier 2 features the next-ranked teams looking to fast-track into the top flight as the winners receive berths to a future Grand Slam major tournament.
Team Retornaz (men’s) and Team Jones (women’s) captured the HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 1 titles this season in Niagara Falls, Ont., while Team Casper (men’s) and Team Kim (women’s) claimed the Tier 2 titles.
The 2023-24 Grand Slam of Curling season wraps up with the Princess Auto Players' Championship, April 9-14, at Toronto's Mattamy Athletic Centre.
The series previously announced next season's Kioti National will be held Nov. 26 to Dec. 1 at the Mary Brown's Centre in St. John's, N.L., and the WFG Masters will take place Jan. 14-19, 2025, at the Sleeman Centre in Guelph, Ont.
