Jason Gunnlaugson’s Manitoba team won on home ice capturing the Dekalb Superspiel men’s title Monday at the Morris Curling Club.
Gunnlaugson scored a deuce in the fourth end that proved to be the difference-maker in a 5-3 victory over Edmonton’s Karsten Sturmay during the final.
Meanwhile, Amber Holland of Kronau, Sask., scored deuces in the third and sixth ends to beat Vancouver’s Kayla MacMillan 6-4 in the women’s final.
