The Stu Sells Series continues with the 1824 Halifax Classic as teams compete for prize money and points for the world team rankings as they aim to qualify for the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling.
This year’s event runs through to Sunday with both men’s and women’s divisions from the Halifax Curling Club. The 16-team men’s field features Switzerland’s Team Schwaller, Italy’s Team Retornaz, Newfoundland and Labrador champions Team Smith, Quebec champions Team Fournier while Team Birt of P.E.I., Nova Scotia’s Team Brothers and Quebec’s Team St-Georges highlight the women’s field.
