Two-time Canadian women’s curling champion Chelsea Carey will skip a new team in Saskatchewan next season.

Regina’s Jolene Campbell, Stephanie Schmidt, Rachel Erikson and Jennifer Armstrong announced Wednesday on Twitter they have added Carey as part of a five-player lineup.

Carey claimed her second Scotties Tournament of Hearts title in 2019 during her first year with third Sarah Wilkes, second Dana Ferguson and lead Rachel Brown.

The Calgary-based club broke up after last season with Wilkes joining Rachel Homan’s team at second and lead Rachel Brown and second Dana Ferguson linking up with skip Kelsey Rocque.

Carey, who is originally from Winnipeg, skipped Tracy Fleury’s team during the Scotties Tournament of Hearts and Princess Auto Players’ Championship this season in the Calgary curling bubble.
