Kelly Scott earned the winning point in the final end to defeat Kesa Van Osch 5-4 in a rematch of last year’s provincial final during A-side action Wednesday night at the B.C. Scotties in Maple Ridge, B.C.
Team Scott and Team Van Osch matched each other throughout the game by trading singles through one and two, deuces in the third and sixth ends and singles again through seven and eight. Scott, a six-time B.C. champion from Kelowna, blanked the ninth end to retain the hammer coming home.
