Dorsey officially returns to Argos

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — The Toronto Argonauts’ struggling return game received a boost Tuesday.

Special teams ace Dominique Dorsey is back with the CFL club after his attempts to make the NFL were unsuccessful.

Dorsey, who was named the CFL’s special teams player of the year in 2008, was cut by the Washington Redskins last month.

When he couldn’t find another job in the NFL, Dorsey’s rights reverted back to Toronto.

The five-foot-seven speedster recorded a CFL-best 2,892 all-purpose yards last season despite missing the final five games due to injury.

The Argos visit the B.C. Lions on Saturday.
