TORONTO — The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are going to the Grey Cup but quarterback Kevin Glenn’s season is over.
Glenn suffered a broken left arm in the 19-9 CFL East Division final victory over the Toronto Argonauts.
He was attempting to recover a fumble on the Argos five-yard line when Toronto’s Kevin Eiben dove towards the ball and landed on Glenn’s arm.
The Bombers quarterback hobbled off the field holding his left wrist while his hand dangled limply.
Ryan Dinwiddie, who only threw 24 passes during the regular season, came in to replace Glenn and will start in the Grey Cup.
Glenn completed 15 of 21 passes for 201 yards and a TD before getting injured.
