CALGARY — The Calgary Stampeders have signed import defensive back Ahmad Carroll to a contract.
The 27-year-old from Atlanta was a first-round (24th overall) pick of the Green Bay Packers in the 2004 NFL draft.
Carroll has compiled 127 career tackles, three interceptions and 17 pass deflections during stints with the Packers, Jacksonville Jaguars and New York Jets.
The five-foot-10, 190-pound cornerback was most recently with the United Football League’s Hartford Colonials.
