EDMONTON — The Edmonton Eskimos signed wide receivers Jason Barnes, Efrem Hill, Willie Thornton, and Alan Turner on Wednesday.
Barnes played for the AF2’s Central Valley Coyotes in 2007 where he led the team with 1,477 receiving yards and 37 touchdowns.
Hill has spent time on the practice rosters of the Carolina Panthers (’05, ’06) and Cleveland Browns (’07, ’08).
Thornton recorded 48 receptions for 923 yards and 10 touchdowns last year for Texas A&M-Commerce.
Turner joins the Eskimos from the IFL’s Bloomington Extreme where he recorded 24 receptions for 251 yards and six touchdowns.
