OTTAWA — The Ottawa Redblacks announced Monday the acquisition of Maxx Forde from the B.C. Lions has been voided as the Canadian defensive lineman didn’t pass a medical.

The deal, made Saturday, saw B.C. land a 2019 sixth-round pick and player from Ottawa’s negotiation list.

The Lions selected the six-foot-five, 280-pound Forde in the seventh round, No. 58 overall, in the 2015 CFL draft. He appeared in 18 games last season with B.C., registering eight tackles, a sack and two forced fumbles.
