LAKE FOREST, Ill. — The Chicago Bears have signed running back Joique Bell and placed cornerback Kyle Fuller on injured reserve.

The Bears also signed defensive lineman CJ Wilson and elevated linebacker John Timu to the active roster. They waived linebacker Jonathan Anderson and tight end Greg Scruggs on Tuesday.

Bell had 2,234 yards rushing and 1,640 receiving over 68 games with Philadelphia (2010), Indianapolis (2010) and Detroit (2012-15). Chicago was looking for help at running back due to injuries for Jeremy Langford (ankle) and Ka’Deem Carey (hamstring).

Wilson had 111 tackles for Green Bay (2010-13), Oakland (2014-15) and Detroit (2015).

Fuller, a first-round pick in 2014, has not played after having arthroscopic knee surgery in August.

Chicago (0-3) plays Detroit this week.
