Bills reach new heights in season tix

ORCHARD PARK — The Buffalo Bills announced the team has surpassed 50,000 season tickets for the upcoming season.

The number marks the highest season ticket total since 1993, when the Bills posted 53,004 season tickets. In 2007 the Bills sold 48,236 season tickets.

“This certainly highlights the passion and commitment this region has for the Buffalo Bills and NFL football,” said Russ Brandon, Buffalo Bills Chief Operating Officer. “With nearly four months remaining before the season opener, we expect momentum to continue.”

The announcement comes one day after organizers of upcoming Buffalo Bills’ games in Toronto released ticket costs, which will range from $55 to $295 per seat.

The Bills have contracted to play a regular season game each year, beginning in 2008 through 2012, and preseason games in 2008, 2010 and 2012. The first preseason game will be Aug. 14 versus the Pittsburgh Steelers and the first regular season game on Dec. 7 against the Miami Dolphins.
