The Buffalo Bills snapped the longest playoff drought in North American pro sports Sunday, but they didn’t do it alone.
Coming into Sunday’s game the Bills needed to to beat the Miami Dolphins — which they did, 22-16 — and either a combination of a San Diego Chargers and Tennessee Titans loss, or just a Baltimore Ravens defeat.
Both the Chargers and Titans won Sunday, but the post-season chasing Ravens did not. Baltimore fell to the division-rival Cincinnati Bengals.
The Bills, who haven’t played post-season football since 1999, took to Twitter to show their appreciation.
Shortly after their win, the Bengals also acknowledged the work they did for long-suffering Bills fans.
