LAKE FOREST, Ill. — Pro Bowl linebacker Lance Briggs was in full pads for the first time since Aug. 28 and practised on a limited basis for the Chicago Bears on Wednesday.
Briggs has been nursing a sprained right ankle since the third pre-season game against Arizona.
The Bears open the season Sunday against the Detroit Lions.
