CINCINNATI, Ohio — The Bengals are missing right tackle Andre Smith for their game against the Cleveland Browns.

Smith sprained his left ankle last Sunday and was in a protective boot. Marshall Newhouse took his place for the AFC North game.

The Bengals also have two backups at linebacker for the second game in a row with Vontaze Burfict and Rey Maualuga sidelined.

Running back Giovani Bernard is inactive for the second straight game with a sore shoulder and hip. Adam "Pacman" Jones took the spot of cornerback Leon Hall, who is recovering from a concussion.

The Browns are without tight end Jordan Cameron, who also has a concussion, and leading receiver Andrew Hawkins, who has a sore knee and thigh. Taylor Gabriel replaces Hawkins.
