ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bills have begun restocking their depth at running back by reaching deals to re-sign Travaris Cadet and Taiwan Jones.

Cadet has six years of NFL experience split among five teams. He was signed by Buffalo on Nov. 4 and appeared in six games before breaking his right ankle in a 37-16 loss to the New England Patriots on Dec. 24.

Cadet had taken over the primary backup duties behind starter LeSean McCoy. He finished the season with 96 yards rushing and 119 yards receiving.

The Bills signed Cadet after Jones broke his left arm during an onside kick in a 34-21 loss to the New York Jets on Nov. 2. Jones was mostly used in special teams situations.

The two will compete with newly signed free agent Chris Ivory for backup jobs.
