PHILADELPHIA – Defensive back Aaron Grymes signed with the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday.

The 24-year-old Seattle native spent the last three seasons with the Edmonton Eskimos, helping the club win the Grey Cup last year. He became a free agent Feb. 9.

There was no announcement about the move by the Eagles but Grymes took to social media to thank Eskimos fans for their support.

"Thank you Edmonton Eskimos and all the fans that have wished me well! I can’t reply to everyone but I see and appreciate all the love!" he said in a tweet. "Also, thank you to the Eagles organization for bringing me in.

"Can’t wait to get started! FlyEaglesFly."

Grymes was a CFL all-star last season after registering 43 tackles, one sack and four interceptions. Over his career, Grymes had 101 tackles, eight interceptions and a sack.
