Toronto mayor Rob Ford showed up to the NFL game at Rogers Centre this Sunday between the Buffalo Bills and the Atlanta Falcons, to the delight of some and dismay of others. A flurry of tweets and photos quickly popped up, showing the mayor coming into the stadium flanked by police, as well as enjoying chicken wings mid-game in a Fred Jackson jersey.

Along with the attention Ford drew simply by showing up to the game, Canadian indie rocker Matt Mays tweeted that the mayor allegedly stole his seat, tossing another log on the Ford fire.

Fans and media reacted to Ford’s presence and the news of the stolen seat, lighting up Twitter.
