LAKE FOREST, IL -– The Chicago Bears agreed to terms on a one-year deal with QB Rex Grossman.
Grossman has a 19-11 (.633) regular season starting record in five seasons with the Bears, including a 13-3 record in 2006 when he helped lead Chicago to their first Super Bowl appearance in 21 years.
The University of Florida product has completed 489 of 900 passing attempts in his NFL career for 5,907 yards, 31 touchdowns and 33 interceptions for a 70.9 passer rating.
