A signed Aaron Hernandez jersey has sold on eBay for US$1,200.
The former New England Patriots tight end is being held in jail on charges of first-degree murder. He has pleaded innocent. The team has released him and taken all Hernandez jerseys off the shelf at its souvenir store at Gillette Stadium.
Prosecutors say Hernandez orchestrated Lloyd’s execution-style shooting near Hernandez’s North Attleborough home on June 17 after Lloyd spoke with the wrong people at a nightclub.
