Every Saturday, Sportsnet fantasy analyst Andy McNamara will answer all your fantasy football questions ahead of Sunday’s slate of games. If you’re looking for fantasy football advice, message him on Twitter using #AskAndy.

Obviously, I’ve been getting a lot of questions about the fantasy implications of Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes getting injured. There are multiple ripple effects from this, but is it time to panic? Listen below:

Here are some of the other fantasy football questions sent to me via Twitter and Instagram.

From @kjm_cannott on Twitter: #AskAndy – Hey Andy, I have a WR flex position that needs to be filled with either Auden Tate (Cin) or DeVante Parker (Mia). Any advice? Thanx

A general rule for 2019 is to avoid any and all Miami Dolphins players in your fantasy lineup.

Parker has delivered consecutive double-digit fantasy point performances in PPR format. However, I’ll bet that trend ends against that nasty Buffalo defence. Tate is the smarter play here as he’s become a favourite of Andy Dalton.

Since Week 2, Tate’s averaging 11.9 fantasy points and faces a Jacksonville secondary that’s middle of the pack when it comes to defending fantasy wide receivers. The departure of Jalen Ramsey potentially gives the six-foot-five WR even more upside on Sunday.

From Jeff on Instagram: #AskAndy – Carlos Hyde vs. Colts or Devin Singletary vs. Dolphins?

No doubt slide in Singletary. The rookie is returning from injury against the disaster that is Miami. Hyde is hit or miss, while Singletary’s been money when given a good workload. He becomes a high end RB2 or low RB1 for Week 7.

From @poirieralex on Twitter: #AskAndy – Hey Andy! I’m having trouble deciding who I should start at WR. John Brown vs Miami, Brandin Cooks vs ATL, Michael Gallup vs PHI or Marquise Brown vs Seattle. Please pick two

After nursing a groin injury for much of the week, Buffalo’s John Brown was deemed healthy on Friday and is a must-start against the Dolphins.

Brandin Cooks has potential in facing a crumbling Atlanta defence, but that Rams offence hasn’t looked right all season. I’ll cross Marquise Brown off the list due to his questionable injury status and that Baltimore is travelling to Seattle.

That leaves Michael Gallup as my second choice. The Eagles are allowing the most fantasy points to WRs, Gallup is healthy, and it appears that Amari Cooper is still not at full health. That should increase the sophomore’s target share, and the Cowboys are due for a bounce back.

From @sportsfanjer on Twitter: #AskAndy I’m in a Dynasty league (reigning champ) I’ve scored the 2nd most points in my league but I’m 2-4 … Should I trade Michael Thomas for JUJU and a first round pick? (Owner of Juju will likely finish first place)

Absolutely not, especially in a dynasty league. Drew Brees will be back soon, and even with Teddy Bridgewater at the helm Thomas has still produced. The Steelers are on their third-string QB and that means you can’t rely on JuJu. On top of all that, Thomas is a much better keeper option and the first-round pick doesn’t change anything for me.

From @mattjenkinson85 on twitter: #AskAndy – What should I do with Josh Gordon going forward. He has done nothing this season and now is injured. Drop, bench or trade?

Bench for now and explore a trade, although you likely won’t get much in return at the moment. If you can afford the roster spot then “Flash” is worth holding onto just in case he figures it out this season. However, nothing suggests Gordon’s infuriatingly inconsistent play will stop any time soon.

From @soso_beezer on Twitter: #AskAndy – Hunter Henry or Evan Engram in 1/2 PPR??

In any format you’re in good shape with suiting up either of these two. I’ll go with Evan Engram on Sunday. The Giants tight end is healthy again and is opposite a Cardinals defence ranked dead last in defending TEs for fantasy purposes.

Hunter Henry’s return to the gridiron was a glorious 100-yard effort with a pair of touchdowns. I’d like to see how his second game back goes before being all in.
