New England Patriots receiver Brandin Cooks has been knocked out of the Super Bowl after a hit to the head from Philadelphia Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins.

Cooks had made a 23-yard reception when he was rocked with a helmet-to-helmet shot.

He left the field for testing was was ruled out of the game.

The 24-year-old caught for 1,082 yards this season, second to only Rob Gronkowski on New England.
