New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady says he still has more to prove after his 20th NFL season ended in defeat last Sunday.
The superstar said in an Instagram post on Wednesday that there was a lot to learn from the Patriots’ wild-card loss to the Tennessee Titans.
“You don’t always win. You can, however, learn from that failure, pick yourself up with great enthusiasm, and place yourself in the arena again,” he wrote. “And that’s right where you will find me.”
Brady, who will be 43 years old by the time the next NFL season starts, had a tough season leading an average Patriots offence, throwing for 4,057 yards and 24 touchdowns with eight interceptions.
He’s a six-time Super Bowl champion, four-time MVP of the title game and has won the league MVP award on three occasions.
Brady will need to sign a new contract before he hits the field in 2020.
