FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — Left guard Logan Mankins is back at practice with the New England Patriots after ending a 4-month holdout.
Mankins returned to the team Tuesday and practiced Wednesday after accepting a tender offer from the Patriots. He initially refused to sign it by June 14 and was not at a three-day minicamp that began the next day. He also missed all of training camp and the Patriots’ first seven games.
The two-time Pro Bowl player was a restricted free agent and wanted an extension when his original five-year contract with the team ended after last season. There was no word on whether Mankins would play Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.
Dan Connolly has started in his place.
