The Philadelphia Eagles signed rookie quarterback Nick Foles to a four-year contract, the team announced Monday.
The terms of the 6-foot-5, 243-pound pivot’s deal were not disclosed but according to nfl.com it’s expected to include a signing bonus of US$543,520.
The 2012 third-round draft pick began his collegiate career at Michigan State but transferred to Arizona following the 2007 season. He became the highest drafted Arizona quarterback since 1962 and finished his collegiate career as the Wildcats all-time leader in passing yards, touchdowns, attempts and completions.
