Colts going with Freeman as starter vs. Titans

Josh Freeman is starting for Indianapolis against Tennessee with the Colts clinging to slim playoff hopes.

Freeman gets the start at quarterback over Ryan Lindley because Andrew Luck and Matt Hasselbeck are inactive and Charlie Whitehurst is on injured reserve. It’s Freeman’s first start Oct. 21, 2013, with Minnesota. He started 59 games for Tampa Bay and one for the Vikings.

The Colts must beat the Titans and need eight other teams to win to secure the AFC South title.
