J.J. Watt, star defensive tackle for the Houston Texans, and Kealia Ohai Watt — his wife, a star for the Chicago Red Stars of the NWSL — are personally donating $350,000 to the Houston Food Bank, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The donation will help provide over one million meals for those in need.

The couple joins Alex Bregman and Lance McCullers of the Houston Astros as the latest athletes who have made donations to help provide meals for families in need as the United States, and world at large, grapple with the COVID-19 outbreak.

Per CNN, more than 152,000 cases of COVID-19 have been reported across the world, and at least 5,700 people have died from the virus as of Sunday evening.

This isn’t the first time Watt has made a difference in a time of crisis.

The three-time defensive player of the year helped create a relief fund for people impacted by Hurricane Harvey back in 2017 with an initial goal of $200,000. After an outpouring of support, the JJ Watt Foundation was able to raise up to $41.6 million.
