Out Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs with a nagging hamstring issue, star Jacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette is looking like he will miss at least one more game.
Fournette will miss Jacksonville’s Week 6 contest against the Dallas Cowboys, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport is reporting.
The 23-year-old got injured during the first half of the Jaguars’ Week 1 matchup with the New York Giants. He missed Weeks 2 and 3 and thought he was healthy enough to play in Week 4 but only rushed nine times before leaving in the second quarter of that game with the New York Jets.
He was once again inactive this past Sunday against the Chiefs and is looking like it will be much of the same against the Cowboys this coming Sunday.
A frustrating campaign, for sure, so far for Fournette, he’s rushed for 71 yards on 20 attempts so far this season after just rushing for 1,040 yards in his rookie season last year.
