The Pittsburgh Steelers don’t expect star running back Le’Veon Bell to report to the team this week, according to multiple reports.
Bell, who has been holding out all season due to a contract disupte, initially planned to rejoin the Steelers during their Week 7 bye, but that no longer appears to be the case. The 26-year-old sacrifices $855,000 of salary every week he misses.
James Conner has filled Bell’s shoes admirably, ranking fifth in the NFL with 453 yards rushing.
Pittsburgh takes on the Cleveland Browns at home in Week 8.
