A source requesting anonymity told The Associated Press on Wednesday receiver Lance Moore has agreed to terms on a new five-year contract with the New Orleans Saints.
Moore, who was a free agent, has been with the Saints since 2005 and steadily worked his way up from the practice squad to become one of quarterback Drew Brees’ favourite receivers.
Last season, Moore played in all 16 regular-season games and had 66 receptions for 763 yards and eight touchdowns.
