The Pittsburgh Steelers will try to extend their current straight-up win streak in regular-season contests to eight games on Sunday when they host the Minnesota Vikings as 6-point favourites on the NFL Week 2 odds at sportsbooks monitored by

Pittsburgh eked out a 21-18 win in Cleveland as 10-point road chalk last weekend that also marked its 10th SU win 11 games overall going into Sunday afternoon’s Vikings versus Steelers betting matchup at Heinz Field. Following their Week 1 win, the Steelers saw their Super Bowl LII odds climb to +800, well ahead of the +1,600 odds they owned during the off-season.

The Steelers remain an inconsistent bet, though, going 2-3-1 against the spread in their past six games, both overall and on home turf. However, Pittsburgh is an impressive 19-3 SU and 15-6-1 ATS in its past 22 home games while favoured by six or more points.

The Vikings took home a 29-19 win over New Orleans as 3-point home chalk on Monday Night Football, but are just 1-5 SU and ATS in their past six road dates, and have failed to earn a SU win in Pittsburgh since 1995.

Meanwhile, the New England Patriots will be looking to bounce back from a shocking Week 1 loss to Kansas City as they visit the Saints as 6.5-point chalk, while the Chiefs host the Philadelphia Eagles as 4.5-point favourites.

New England’s 42-27 loss to the Chiefs as 8-point chalk ended both a 10-game SU win streak and an 8-0 run against the spread. The Patriots have also slipped on the Super Bowl odds since their Week 1 loss, but continue to lead the way as +425 favourites.

The Saints will try to bounce back from a relatively shaky offensive performance in Minnesota on Monday night. New Orleans trailed only Atlanta last season, scoring 29.3 points per game, and has averaged 27 points per game in eight dates with New England, including a 38-17 win as 2-point favourites in the Patriots’ last visit to the Big Easy in 2009.

The Chiefs have improved to a +1,600 Super Bowl bet since knocking off the Patriots last week. Kansas City also rides a seven-game SU road winning streak, but faces an Eagles squad that has surrendered just 16.3 points per game in three straight wins.

In other NFL Week 2 betting action, the Buffalo Bills travel to Carolina in search of a third straight win over the Panthers as 7-point underdogs, while the Seattle Seahawks take on the San Francisco 49ers as 13.5-point home chalk, and the Detroit Lions visit the New York Giants as 3.5-point underdogs on Monday Night Football.
