Terrell Owens is making his return to the football field. Sort of.

EA Sports selected the legendary wide receiver to be on the cover of its Hall Of Fame Edition of Madden 19, shining the spotlight on the six-time Pro-Bowler who never shied away from it.

Owens himself had some fun with the announcement, posting this video on Twitter:

Owens is sporting a Cowboys jersey in the cover photo, which is where he had three of his most productive seasons. He played a total of 15 seasons in the NFL, splitting his time between the San Francisco 49ers (eight seasons), Philadelphia Eagles (two), Dallas Cowboys (three), Buffalo Bills (one) and Cincinnati Bengals (one). He ranks second in all-time receiving yards (15,934) in NFL history, behind only Jerry Rice (22,895).

It was announced back in February that Owens, widely considered a first-ballot inductee, would be inducted into the Hall of Fame this summer in his second year of eligibility.

He’ll be enshrined in August alongside Bobby Beathard, Robert Brazile, Brian Dawkins, Jerry Kramer, Ray Lewis, Randy Moss, and Brian Urlacher.
