To all the NHL goalies who must face Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane, you have our sympathies. The American almost always manages to completely undress opposing goalies in shootouts and it just looks flat-out unfair. (AP/Paul Vernon)

In 2000, Toronto Raptors shooting guard Tracy McGrady made an incredible block that was ruled goaltending against the New Jersey Nets as he caught the ball in mid-air. The play itself wasn’t bad, however, the decision to catch the ball in the air probably wasn’t the best one. (CP/Kevin Frayer)

On February 23 2012, then Washington Wizard center JaVale McGee spiked a Francisco Garcia shot into the third row volleyball style. Normally this would be a good thing but the play was a blatant block and was an all-around boneheaded thing to do. (AP/Richard Lipski)
